Not the scariest, but a great story. Good acting. Worth a watch.

This is a 6 out of 10 film (or 3 skulls). It was good but not really what you's call scary & omg it was sloooow. I guess it comes down to what sort of mood you are in but I'll admit my patience nearly ran out "towards" the end which they should have spent more time on after such a long build up.

This movie was so original in so many ways. Firstly, the setting of an orthodox jewish community is something I’ve personally never seen in horror. I could also never really tell where the movie was heading. I didn’t know who to trust or who was the dangerous one - something I really value in this genre. Overall refreshing and although not terrifying, an enjoyable watch.

After a chance encounter, a frustrated Dane leaves behind her sleepy life in Denmark and follows the newfound love of her life back to her London flat, where she gets a crash course in cohabitation with an overbearing Yiddish mother. What might sound at first blush like a modern “Seinfeld” episode adds a sinister dimension when it turns out mom follows the teachings of the Kabbalah, a Jewish book of mysticism, and lives in fear of — or is it reverence for? — demonic forces. How often does London’s Orthodox Jewish community get a close-up in film, let alone in a horror that convincingly centers a lesbian romance? Strong acting buoys a creepy budget flick that punches well above its weight class, though the deep chills don’t set in until the last 20 to 30 minutes or so. In English with frequent Danish dialogue and some creepy Hebrew chanting from mom. Available on Shudder.com, where “Attachment” has consistently received five-star reviews from everyday viewers tired of teen screams and masked slashers.

Not much to show horror-wise, but the characters and plot were captivating enough to keep it going.
