Elevator Game

Based on the online phenomenon of the same name, ELEVATOR GAME follows socially awkward teenager Ryan, who ingratiates himself into a group of recent high school graduates that run an online web series debunking urban legends. But Ryan has a secret: His sister disappeared months earlier, and he believes they – and a dangerous online challenge called ‘The Elevator Game’ – were responsible. To play the game, you must ride the elevator in a specific sequence, invoking a supernatural creature called ‘The 5th Floor Woman’. In an attempt to gain more information as to the whereabouts of his sister, Ryan persuades the group to play the game once more, and risk unleashing the most fearsome consequences imaginable.

Rebekah McKendry has followed the rule book much too closely. In short, the director has paid very close attention in filmography class, and has followed every rule to the letter, which makes things very bland. She was going for Hawaiian pizza, but ended up with plain old Margarita pizza. Rebekah and David Ian McKendry were involved with the movie "Glorious," which I found to be far more original and engaging.
Probably the most brain-dead movie I've seen in years. And I've seen the Prom Night remake. Apart from the review system forcing me to give it at least one star, the only positive thing I can say about this movie is that it exists, and existence is better than non-existence. Although, watching this has forced me to call that into question. It's not so bad it's good. It's not so stupid it's funny. It's just dumb. Boring, lazy, and predictable dumb. Writing this review has been more fun, so perhaps that is what earns this film its one star.

Good movie
It’s a dumb silly movie that isn’t very scary even for a newbie in horror. Enjoyable if you’re into dumb silly horror movies.
