great. slow but great.
Very impressed with this. I didn't expect an Indonesian film would doff its cap to Texas chainsaw Massacre so that took me by surprise. There is some seriously scary horror content here all the way through. The atmosphere, setting, acting and screenplay is all top notch. May need to watch it again to follow the origin story as it came a bit too thick and fast on a first viewing. But I don't mind that-this is excellent.
It was alright.
Beautifully shot, the dialogue between the two mains in the first half is quite funny and well acted, and their chemistry carries it. The movie could probably be 30 minutes shorter, but the essentials of the movie are solid. The cinematography is exceptional.
