Apartment 143 (Emergo)
Directed by Carles Torrens
Paranormal investigators document an intense haunting in an apartment building in this inventive found footage flick. After the matriarch of the White family dies in a tragic accident, father Alan moves his kids to an apartment where things begin to go bump in the night - and day. On top of the flying objects, Alan's daughter Caitlin is becoming increasingly out of control. So it's time for a team of parapsychologists to figure out what's up. One thing's certain: this twisted thriller is no slow burner - it grabs you from the start and refuses to let go.

not the best film i have seen
Watched this a long time ago and really enjoyed it just didn’t review it at the time!
It started good, like most things. Then it went bad, like most things. Hooked with the possible link of mental illness/energies/poltergeist but they run out of decent script to make it a cohesive storyline. Instead, they invited Hurricane Catrina in, in order for the audience to forget the (huge) plot gaps and be worried if the protagonists are going to survive the natural disaster provoking ghost/psychic manifestation/demon/demons (whatever that was). Really a shame as it has potential. It felt like meeting a decent guy and by date three you realise he's a jerk.
just kind of weak, its like to make up for a boring plot (spoiler) hinging on mental illness they just went really excessive with all the moving furniture poltergeist stuff.
Little slow but enjoyed
