Interesting and something different. Not as much horror as I would have liked.
don’t forget to stay hydrated
Absolutely amazing, i might have made the mistake of reading the story right before watching. So i came in with high expectations and an understanding of the story. I wasn't expecting a shot for shot retelling of the book but i absolutely love what they did with this. In my opinion it perfectly encapsulates the feeling the story gave off, the only part i missed is when Nahum's face shrinks in on itself in front of Ammi. On that note one of my only other complaints is Ammi, was Ezra supposed to be our replacement for him? Bcs i feel like they did him SOOOOOOOO dirty if that is the case. I loved Ammi in the original short story and his relationship with the gardeners. On the other hand i understand it is a loose retelling and besides those complaints i give this movie a personal 10/10
The last 10 minutes were the only good minutes of the film. But, comma, there were some good Nic Cage sections.
I have seen this before, I think it was on another stream channel. It is a great movie, one of the better-made sci-fi horror films I have seen. It has good acting, and Nicolas Cage's temper tantrum was priceless LOL. The scary thing about it is that you never know, it could happen one day, you never know LOL. Just watch it, it will make you shudder a fair bit.
