The lack of jump scares to me means that they are going to mess with your mind by the end. The fact they are trapped in the house because of the protest gave me all the haunted house claustrophobia feels. But is the haunting supernatural or guilty consciences at work? This movie deserves accolades!

I really enjoyed this. Won’t be for everyone due to political content, but I think it’s worth a watch.

It's not a perfect film, but as a political gothic horror it works really well. I'd definitely recommend if you're in the mood for a ghost story.

I loved this movie. No, it doesn't have a whole bunch of jump scares and yes it is in Spanish (there are subtitles in English) but that just adds to the whole atmosphere. This is a scary film, a whole genocide took place with little to no incident in the 1960's. The horrors of war and killing of an ancient peoples IS terrifying. This was really amazing and it had me in tears a bit near the end.

Not what I expected but not bad! Strong message against colonization and brutal genocide of natives. There ARE English subtitles, if you don't see the option just wait. It'll likely automatically have subtitles already there, but only when they speak Spanish. It took a minute for them to appear for me.
