Faithful remake of the modern Swedish classic is a worthy addition to the canon in its own right.

Nothing beats the original. If you are so inclined, the Swedish version is free on Tubi.

A good movie. Original is vastly superior, but you could do worse than watching this one.

Not nearly as creepy as the original 2008 Swedish film entitled "Let the right one in" which was much more atmospheric and a better movie in terms of acting, atmosphere, lighting and original music. In the original movie it was alluded to that "Eli" was original male (it's in the novel)... this version lost so much of what made the 2008 movie great imo.
