Directed by Andy Muschietti
Five years ago, sisters Victoria and Lilly vanished from their suburban neighbourhood without a trace. Since then, their Uncle Lucas (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and his girlfriend Annabel (Jessica Chastain), have been madly searching for them. But when, incredibly, the kids are found alive in a decrepit cabin, the couple wonders if the girls are the only guests they have welcomed into their home.

It can be a bit long sometimes but overall it's a great movie. This director made the new adaptation of It, there's a link to be made between this ghost and another monster in It...
SO GOOD, ending was harsh.. a bit anticipated but heart wrenching.
Not super happy with the ending of this movie but the scares are solid and the child actors outdid themselves. Other than the ending, I really enjoyed this one.
Kinda meh. Has some cool ideas, but falls pretty flat imo. Maybe a victim of the dreaded horror movie CGI. Things do get crazy and a little dumb at the end. 3 skulls because it has some cool sets and a somewhat interesting plot, two girls wind up deserted in a haunted house, go feral and might have a ghost mom or they might not. Could have been better with better casting, better story writing, better acting, more practical effects. I dunno, was mostly bored throughout.
