There are some long, realistic and quite grueling scenes of rape in this film which were upsetting to watch. The murders though are strangely unrealistic, light almost and not very cathartic. And the main character seems bizarely unmoved by the whole thing. It was definitely watchable, but the writing isnt great and the character development is not great either. It's an important subject and the film makes important points, its a shame this didnt work better as a film though.

It's been a while since I watched something that really hit me and M.F.A did just that! It was sad and gut wrenching at points but wow what a beautiful film. In my opinion it had some great acting from Francesca Eastwood, the leading lady. One I will absolutely have to buy on DVD.
