I luv Tony Jaa, but this ISN'T a horror film. Movies like these u can see on Tubi TV or Pluto TV. This shouldn't even be on here!

This is a wonderfully gory fight movie and one of Tony Jaa’s best. But having the privilege of watching with a friend well-versed in ancient Thai culture took it to another level. The history is pretty accurate as is Thai people’s intense fear and respect for powerful animal “ghosts” taking the form of a woman. The story, acting, and fight sequences are more than enough for general audiences without a Thai sense of horror underneath. Glad as I am to have that too.

Really disappointed to see movies like this here. Between Netflix, Hulu & Amazon Prime, these Ong Bak movies have been in my recommended queue consistently. At Shudder, I expect something different. I'm a horror fan who can't find enough decent horror on those other services, so I don't want to see these here. Just my opinion, of course, but it seems to b the consensus.
