[Rec] 4: Apocalypse
Directed by Jaume Balaguero
The final instalment of the [REC] series, [REC] 4: Apocalypse brings the horror full circle. Continuing on from the events of the first film, [REC] 4 rejoins plucky television presenter, Angela Vidal in the aftermath of her traumatic ordeal inside the apartment building. Sent to a special quarantine facility on an oil tanker, Angela fears the worse when she realises the deadly virus has followed her on board. Angela will have to fight the deadly zombie outbreak one final time before it infects the entire facility. Contains violence and gore.
Angela Vidal returns to face the hordes on an adrift oil tanker in the fourth [REC] film.
Cast: Manuela Velasco, Paco Manzanedo, Héctor Colomé
Although the first two REC movies were really good, I don't like REC as a series because it doesn't understand what it wants to do. First found footage with infected, then found footage with demonic possessions (if I remember correctly), then an involuntarily campy mess of a movie, and finally this shaky, below average tepid flick. Would have given it just one star if it wasn't for the two amazing monkey killing scenes. I know that asians are into weird foods, but not to the point of frying monkeys. Damn.
loved 1 and 2 , never got to see 3 as being in the uk i cudnt find it anywhere. but loved this one aswell. well done guys id love to see more involving the 2 that survived
3 was bad. Really bad. This is not *that* bad but it is simply nowhere near the quality of 1 and 2.
Entertaining enough and very well made but ultimately this felt like an average zombie movie. Not all the necessary really but not as awful as some would have you believe. Strangely I think I preferred the barmy third film. That wasn't as predictable as this one.
that was very much some thing my guy
