sinister is a pretty good movie. i gave it a 3, but that's a very enthusiastic 3. it doesn't quite maintain its genuinely creepy atmosphere all the way through, but it has some genuinely frightening scenes, and even when it loses that chill it remains properly paced & entertaining. & it also has an unusually good score imo - almost reminded me of coil in some sections.

Decent scares not much substance to the movie on a whole, but it still worth a watch for the scares it offers.

When this first came out I thought it was a dumb slender man knock off movie, how wrong I was. This is a really well done horror movie and I'd recommend it to everyone to see at least once.
