Mutant slugs infest a small town and begin eating their way through the population in this animal horror 80s rarity that follows in the footsteps of creepy (crawly) classics like SQUIRM, SSSSSSS and THE SWARM. When a health inspector is called in to solve some weird murders, he realizes the town's overrun with sharp-toothed slugs that emerged 20 years after the town was built over a toxic waste dump. Now he's got to stop the slug-festation before everyone is exterminated. Filled with gross kills and familiar genre tropes, SLUGS is a fun, frightening good time. Contains violence and gore.

Incredible movie. A must watch
Love these old creature features. Leave brain at the door stuff. Great gore effects.
a mediocre bit of sluggery from a mediocre shaun hutson book starring mediocre actors and a mediocre director who made the slightly less mediocre pieces. so there's these slugs right and they eat flesh. everybodys semi-hysterical angry all the time in every scene. some things kinda burst every now and again. two stars mainly for the dude who chops his hand off coz there's a slug in his glove.
don't really get the love for this. a shitty production from the guy who made pieces, based on an average shaun hutson book. stuff happens with slugs. slugs that bite. and eat flesh. slugs. that they glued one to the back of a hamster is probably the most horrifying thing on display. everybody acts like they're a second away from angry hysteria. in every scene. 'cept for the english dude doing science who sounds like austin powers on ketamine. two stars, mainly for the guy who chops his own goddamned hand off coz there's a slug in his glove.
Another great 80s horror flick. The only downside..... it's put me off salad for life!
