In this British spookhouse story, a woman recovering from tragedy goes to stay at a house in the country, but finds it already occupied by the former owner’s ghost. Is Audrey losing her mind? Or is Douglas real? And why is the cottage’s current owner so insistent she ignore the haunting? As dead-ish Douglas begins to manifest himself in more physical ways, his relationship with Audrey takes a surprising turn. While viewers expecting another CONJURING will be sorely disappointed, those looking for something more emotionally complex are sure to enjoy this.

The very last sentence of the synopsis explains it perfectly. Demonstrates volatility of Emotion, the need to be seen where we are inside without judgement, but understanding. Sorrow, Loss, Grief, Remorse and the lengths and decisions made in fervent hope for Happiness are not always of a Rational realm. We are trapped by our Emotions and the consequences. Loved this Feature because of the depth. Bravo!
Not scary, but could have been a wonderful tragedy. The ending was bad and the main actress was not the best. As someone who plays the violin, they should have trained her to do a better job at faking it. Had potential.
Ok at best.
Not a horror movie per say, but supernatural. Not the most fast paced movie, but it was good. It went in a direction I can't say I was expecting. Good acting and worth a watch.
