It was interesting, and also annoying.
Don’t believe the bad reviews. Movie is a great thriller
This film wastes a unique premise by going downhill in the second half. For a movie about making movies, it makes some insultingly amateur screenwriting mistakes. The only thing that motivated me to finish watching this was Robert Englund because he’s always fun but I’ll stick to movies he’s in that are actually good.
England is at the top of his game being menacing yet innocent at the same time (due to his age and ageism as a theme). It's also a very clever twist on the genre and very entertaining from beginning to end. It makes you wonder why more filmmakers haven't continued to give him starring roles in films rather than cameo appearances.
If you don't see this movie you're not missing anything. In my opinion, this is one of those you can pass unless you really desperate and have an hour and a half to kill.
