Tigers Are Not Afraid
Directed by Issa López
A haunting horror fairytale set against the backdrop of Mexico’s devastating drug wars, TIGERS ARE NOT AFRAID follows a group of orphaned children armed with three magical wishes, running from the ghosts that haunt them and the cartel that murdered their parents. Filmmaker Issa López creates a world that recalls the early films of Guillermo del Toro, imbued with her own gritty urban spin on magical realism to conjure a wholly unique experience that audiences will not soon forget. A SHUDDER EXCLUSIVE.

One of the most impactful movies I have seen. A twist of horror and magic that will keep you engaged and thinking about this movie after it ends.
Definitely not horror, but absolutely beautiful, impactful and must watch
Fantastic film. Really hits home, Mexico is not easy to grow up in. And fortunetley here the kids have a happy ending. I wish ghosts were real so the monsters among us would be afraid of them.
Best film I’ve seen on here. The cinematography is breathtakingly beautiful while the story is heartbreaking. Loved it
Not a traditional horror movie more like the horrors of real life so not gonna appeal to the average ‘shudderer’ but if you appreciate a haunting foreign tale & have an open mind it’s ultimately a satisfying watch-I say give it a go-there’s def much much worse out there👌
