I like it, solid entry to the series
Solid entry in the series! Loved it!
God damn it, the entire last story I was just so anxious for the poor dog
This movie is by no means perfect technically or storywise, but the highs are worth sitting through the lows. I also love the concept of the library of V/H/S IRL horror films, and I hope they continue to use it. It's like the creepy abandoned house plays the role of The Crypt Keeper, which is such an interesting twist on that concept. However, one of my major qualms with this film was the length of the vignettes. For example, "A Ride in the Park" was just way too long and completely overstayed its welcome. Overall, I think this film was an improvement on the last installment of V/H/S in terms of quality and story. However, the film still feels like watching an athlete that never quite reached his full potential.
There are some dull stretches here, but also some grisly instant hits: nasty, deplorable, vulgar and sometimes brilliant.
