So, so.
Pretty solid. Maybe spent a little too long on the set up before getting into the meaty bits (so to speak). Breaking it up into POV chapters was a good move imo. And I liked the town cover up angle. The big bad wasn't really scary though.
A good movie to start with for someone who isn't "into" horror or is typically afraid to dive in. It has its spooky parts and I think they did a good job with the entity's makeup effects. I genuinelly would've sh*t my pants if I saw that in real life, so kudos on acheiving the look. The storyline was fun, but it ended too abruptly and didn't really resolve itself. Maybe I'm asking too much, but it wasn't a waste of time for sure.
Meh.
