Magnificent! Like "Stand By Me" or "The Goonies" in tone, but much darker and more cynical. (And from Spain, of couse. The place where the best horror movies--hell, the best movies, period, regardless of genre--come from nowadays. ) Man, Rebeca was scary! It doesn't really turn into a horror movie until it's about ⅔ finished, but everything leading up to it is great, too. I even loved the movie-within-a-movie!
This one was a pleasant surprise for sure. Gave me Deadly Games and Day of the Beast vibes. Good kid actors…I adored 3 and hated 2 (f-you Peti and your dickbag friend). Check it out for sure if you’re looking for a holiday horror treat. Subtitles if that is something that deters you. Hope it doesn’t with this one though…

This is one of my favorite Xmas horror films, and I know ppl might get upset but those 3 little bullies messed with the wrong person. I don't think the girl's crush deserved to be unalived because she could've pursuaded him to set Becky frr? That was Ivana Baquero from Pan's Labyrint.
