This has a lot of style with its gothic settings and contrast lighting, and the acting is very good. The individual stories are hit or miss and a bit too tame for my taste, but overall, I enjoyed the movie. (As an aside, I laughed through Herbert Lom's performance because he's indelibly in my mind as Inspector Dreyfus in the Pink Panther movies. He was so good in those that I can never see him as any other character.)

Good but not great in my opinion. It reminded me of the works of Poe.

This is a pretty cool older anthology. 4 stories presented in a cool wrap-around, interesting practical effects. Loved the cameo by Peter Cushing. I took off one skull because the music/score is really overdone in some spots and made me wince several times.
