Intense and interesting. Didn’t expect this to be as good as it was. Recommend!
Terrifying and disturbing from the start to the end. No build up, just straight into the horror. That's how I like it. Amazing, how good little budget movies can be.
silent movie. hard to develop characters. some explanation as to why they were living as they do, what Azrael had done so wrong yo be sacrificed. where Az + partner were running to, what the "outsider" in the nice van was doing.
Samara Weaving proves she can do body horror in a movie that is oft times brutal. In a post apocalyptic world she has to survive being hunted by a religious cult and ultimately will face them. Some confusion as to the ending, think Rosemary's baby. Azrael is the Islamic angel of death, and she sure does hand out some death in this flick. But the question to ponder is which group is evil, the cultists or the burnt people.
What the hell! (loved it)
