Story line sucked! Acting sucked! Cinematography sucked! Music sucked! This could have been shown for free on YouTube!

The people who rate this movie bad just because it was queer are the ones who probably would’ve been the antagonist of this movie. Listen, if you don’t like queer people then don’t watch the movie they literally announce it’s made by trans and queer people at the beginning if you don’t like it watch one of the hundreds of other horror movies that are cisheteronormative. It’s not political and doesn’t even emphasize pronouns besides people using they/them pronouns it’s just queer people existing and the bigots reviewing think that’s pushing an agenda. What I loved about this movie is it is queer art, it shows queer people existing as both main and supporting characters in which their identities are only mentioned when necessary to the plot. The way the movie was shot, edited, written, etc. was all an example of how queer art can create something more diverse and interesting than what is typically seen. It was a bit on-the-nose at times with their commentary on violence against queer people but most of the time it was more subtext. While this sort of concept is not completely original they did make it in their own way making it interesting and entertaining to watch. This is a great movie if you want a queer low-budget supernatural slasher.

I liked this one even better the second time. If you low budget horror movies and gave this one a bad review, why? It's a low budget slasher film with an original premise, decent-enough acting, and practical effects. That's a horror fan's wet dream. But you gave it one star because they use pronouns in it. So lame. I do think Shudder could describe the movie better, so that people who want to watch it will watch it, instead of it getting trashed in reviews by haters. So: this film does have LGBTQ characters in it, they will share their pronouns. If you can't handle that, don't watch it! It does have a lot of montages in the middle, like the director is into making music videos. If you don't like that, don't watch it! It can feel a little melodramatic in places, if you don't like that, don't watch it! Otherwise, it's a fun low-budget supernatural slasher with a red herring and a few twists at the end. Good popcorn flick; I'll be watching it again.
