Really enjoyed this movie, no bullshit to it. Not really horror but drama with some darker themes, though honestly didn't actually think it was that dark, crazier unethical shit has been done in real life which has furthered medical science. Every man in the movie was treated as a kind of goofy idiot, not uncommon in modern cinema. They hinted at some plot lines they didn't return to, for example (spoliers) the kid killing the pig, as if the process was making her violent. They literally acted like this never happened, no one addressed it at all. Also they seemed to vaguley hint at the idea that the kid was now seeing Rose as her mother figure, though again this wasn't fleshed out
Loved this movie it was awesome
Great performances from the two leads. Slow burn most def, but watched the whole thing several times and there are still small fresh details I pick up on. Not for people with fears of needles, medical gore or who get squeamish around pregnancy.
Would give 5 stars but I think the
Fantastic, twisted movie!
