I feel a lot of the backstory for the hero was wasted. Could have cut a lot out if you just wanted the movie to be a fun monster romp. But with it left in, you end up with something half expecting development and half with a 'just enjoy the show' attitude. If they rolled Chris and Marnie's charecters into one and given her the kid replacement role that might have tied things together and given the character a reason for being in the movie at all.
That was a good fun watch, didnt take itself too seriously with a good mix of horror and humour . . . definitely worth a rewatch 👌

A good little delirium, with Bruce Campbell, which recalls the Evil Dead of Sam Raimi and it's a pleasure, despite the fact that it's not at the same level as the latter.
