it was ok, just
Blackout certainly seemed like it was offering a promising premise. However, it just misses for me. I don't know what it is, but perhaps it falls down when you compare it to An American Werewolf in London, The Company of Wolves, Werewolves Within and even The Howling. More drama than horror, with some long stretches without much happening. It's not a complete loss, and a movie you just have to watch to make up your own mind.
I really liked this! It’s definitely slow-paced and a little open-ended, but there are some scenes that are absolutely gorgeous and some poignant moments.
Brilliant! Fascinating, interesting and different.
Dialogue-heavy indie film with a lot of woke elements and not a lot of werewolf.
