Maybe i missed something but i did not think much of this. Daft plot , ropey effects , script had me cringing a couple of times and worst of all was the action sequences were really unconvincing , not a fan

I do not like stories where the main character has some extraordinary power, does not know how to truly use said power, but yet is able to beat an enemy that should be more powerful and tactful than the protagonist. For the majority of the movie, Iqbual was unable to use his abilities. His father was supposed to show him how to use them, but he himself does not have any abilities, just the knowledge so how could he truly show his son what to do!? Combined with the fact that the characters make really questionable decisions and could not be bothered to actually communicate any important information, it is truly astounding that any of them actually survived (got to love that plot armor.) The ending revealed quite a bit, but yet still somehow only skimmed over major parts that would've been more helpful than the information we did get. The visuals were pretty decent, although I was not a big fan of the demon looking like a claymation figure. Some of the deaths in the movie were needless and, to me, did not make sense as to why they died.
