Brick
Directed by Rian Johnson
Brendan Frye is a loner, someone who knows all the angles but has chosen to stay on the outside. When the girl he loves turns up dead, he is determined to find the “who” and “why” and plunges into the dark and dangerous social strata of rich girl Laura, intimidating Tug, drug-addled Dode, seductive Kara, and the ominous Pin. But who can he really trust? These are the ingredients of Brick, a gritty and provocative thriller that critics describe as “a clever, twist-filled whodunit!” (Claudia Puig, USA Today )

This movie is really good, but it is a little hard to understand because of tge way the dialogue is written. I watching the movie with the subtitles on, which made it a little easier to follow what was being said. Teenagers, acting like adults, it's a very well crafted film.
Absolute classic but not a horror.
Great film. Not a horror in my book but one that always stuck with me. Its a strange little noir detective film stuffed Into a highschool setting. It’s one of those films which can create its own time and a place which doesn’t fit into our own world but seems to create a window to a slightly different one.
A tad overhyped in my opinion, but okay nonetheless. I had difficulty following some most of the scenes because I couldn’t understand what the actors were saying, especially JGL and his mumbling.
Really bloody good, not too many horror elements so keep that in mind. I've never seen a film remotely like it. Feels a bit Lynchian
