Eden was no Isaac, but still well played. I had high hopes, but found myself wondering if they were running a gently PG13 rating. The murdering part, felt hidden and quick. It was like the cult wanted to kill, but didn't want to see it happen. The original has them emotionless and cold, slashing their own parents down brutally. I found myself bored too often and the monster actually coming out was bitter sweet. I want to see "He who walks behind the rows", but I was disappointed when I did, just because there was no mystery anymore. No more, "Is he real?", "Are the kids just insane?", then the huge twist of a roar in the cornfield and something huge is moving around out there, but you don't know exactly what it is. It was intriguing and keeps you very interested. This movie throws the creature at you ant it feels lackluster, just because we imagine our own horror when we can't see it. Still, a decent movie, but nothing too amazing. Very much worth a watch, especially if you like the original.
Not a bad remake/retelling. It won't win any Oscars but it's entertaining and has a decent story.
Wanted to love it, but the acting was so bad I couldn’t see past the actors trying to be real people.
wasn't bad
Really well done. It's a great prequel to the original adding more depth and some backstory for the franchise.
