This is the 2nd worst movie I have ever seen. This trades whatever charm the other movies had for just being mean. I get it, the point of the movie is to shock and offend, but there is absolutely nothing to it beyond that. 90% of Gags don't feel like they were made because the creator thought they would be funny. They feel like they were made because "Hey wouldn't this be OFFENSIVE?" The jokes aren't not funny because I couldn't handle them. They weren't funny because they couldn't get away with it. Just a lousy super hero movie mixed with a terrible comedy. Say what you want about Toxic Avenger 2 and 3, my friends weren't begging me to shut the movie off
The true sequel to the greatest movie ever made. Only loses a skull for not being as 80s as it is disgusting. Nothing beats that mid 80s soundtrack sound, which this lacked. Other than that, just as good as the original.
Not my favorite the rest were much better
I really wanted to like this considering how much fun I had with the trilogy but this was just a disappointment. There were fun moments and it did feel reminiscent of the trilogy but it was just boring and, to be frankly honest, quite stupid. The all over the place chaotic humor of the trilogy had substance, like the Airplane! duology, The Naked Gun trilogy, and The Kentucky Fried Movie. But this film just waters down that substance and gives a half assed boring sequel to a trilogy that was actually fun. So yeah. 2½ skulls.
The best sequel, and peak Troma. Insane and endearing tastelessness taken to the level of art. You'll know whether this is for you within 10 minutes. If it's not, I totally get it. But for the rest of us degenerates, this is GOLD.
