They got colors we aint never seen before from places your mind couldn't fathom
The movie was a blend of boredom and excitement. In some scenes, I felt like turning the movie off and going about my day; however, others had my mouth agape and jaw on the floor. I will be writing my American literature research proposal on this 8. 5/10.
This feels like a 5 star movie and a 2 star movie thrown in a blender together. It kept switching back and forth between groan-inducing and jaw-dropping, sometimes multiple times in a single scene. Most of the characters were annoying. Most of the cosmic horror was superb. I would recommend it but it's a very bumpy ride.
Definitely not a movie for everyone, but if you love cosmic horror and Nic Cage, try and give it a watch.
as a cosmic horror fan, i enjoyed watching this for my birthday. if you're a H. P
