svg-play Trailer

In what fans consider his last great film, Godfather of Gore Lucio Fulci returns to the startling imagery and bloody excesses of his ‘70s/‘80s classics for an unholy saga of demonic nuns and supernatural carnage: When a Canadian archeological team excavates the ruins of a medieval Sicilian monastery, they unleash the vengeance of a crucified coven of satanic sisters with full-on Fulci fury.

the good parts are the kills at 1h00 and 1h11, plus the sequence starting at 1h20 and going to the end - you could also watch the opening scene, but otherwise it is all just fluff imho

if you just want to watch the interesting (i.e. inventive use of gore or creepy imagery), just watch at 1h00 and 1h11 to the jills, and then 1h20

I went into this one ready to be spooked by the creepy nun in the thumbnail, but aside from a few gory death scenes I found the whole thing pretty lame. the acting and music are cheesy and the story was 100% loose threads and non sequiturs, so don't expect it to build up to anything
