Directed by Renaud Gauthier
A timid man becomes a serial killer after hearing disco music for the first time in this tongue-in-cheek low-budget horror film. Traumatized by the pulsating beat as a child, Duane finds himself surrounded by the boogie-oogie-oogie in disco-happy 1976. After a tune makes him Super Freak-out on one innocent victim, he hightails it to Montreal, where rock and roll is dead, then picks up where he left off. Who'll be the next victim and who'll wind up stayin' alive? One thing's for certain. You've probably never thought records could be murder weapons before...

So disappointing because this comes so CLOSE to being an awesome cult b-movie but doesn't nail the tone. All the elements are essentially there but poor execution, muddled script and strange pace makes this film miss the mark :( I want to rewrite this because the concept is so good! HE CAN'T FIGHT THE MUSIC!
great premise and soundtrack i just wish he didn't have to kill like four canadian lesbians
Good, but not great. Better than I expected for its concept.
great homage to b grade 80s slasher flicks mixed with a nod to late 70s early 80s disco
Kind of interesting to watch someone getting killed right under your feet with a glass bottom and disco heads don't even notice it they just keep on dancing flight of the bumblebee. I think they ripped off hellraiser 3 where cd demon man could use cds and records as star knife weapons.
