Dog Soldiers
Directed by Neil Marshall
Sergeant Harry Wells leads a team of British soldiers on a routine expedition to the Scottish Highlands. The six men would rather be at home watching a game, but they are even more dismayed when a carcass lands on their campfire. The next morning, they happen upon a severely injured Captain Richard Ryan and the bloody remains of his squadron.
A team of British soldiers encounter a vicious monster in this modern werewolf gem.
Cast: Sean Pertwee, Kevin McKidd, Emma Cleasby

Classic fun stuff. Almost too entertaining!
Amazing
Classic
Out of the werewolf movies I've seen, one of the better ones. The plot is pretty straightforward and bare bones, but thats an asset - keeping it from getting overly complicated helps. And the special effects are... well, look, it's a low budget movie from the 2000s, don't expect too much (they did a good job on the gore though). They tried with the werewolves, and I salute whoever made the suits because they really put some work in, but again, temper your expectations. What sets this apart is that the dialogue and the dynamics between the characters feel reasonably realistic, if a touch stereotypical. And I liked that things were kept reasonably simple with regards to the werewolf lore. The action sequences could have used a little more work though - they're a little repetitive, and sometimes its not really clear what's going on. I was sad to find out that it seems that the sequel isn't happening, because this was a good start and eith a bit more of a budget, a little more polish on the action, and improvements in special effects since the 2000s, a sequel could turn out rewlly good.
Out of the werewolf movies I've seen, one of the better ones. The plot is pretty simple and nothing particularly new - we've all seen plenty of 'military exercise turns into monster movie, news at 11'.
