A paranormal movie about dreams vs. reality etc. , has a lot of redeeming qualities but is not put together very well and there's little clarity about what's going on (even though they explain the main problem at the end).
The movie is bad because of these inconsistencies, with a total confusion about reality and dreams. It is less bad than Beyond Dream's Door in my opinion.
Great chemistry between the female leads - making their friendship both charming and believable. The dream sequences and practical effects are well done. Its a made for TV movie and it delivers some easy entertainment. The only real pitfall of the film is that its overarching plot is a mystery that stays too vague when it comes to answers. I don't really mind that we don't get an explanation for the dream realm but would have liked if the film expanded more on the strange link between the two women. Also there's no real demons in this movie.
It was okay. A good idea that could have been executed a lot better.
Fantastic. Wonderfully paced, ethereal, dream-like sequences. Like a beautiful music video at times. Genuinely surreal at times but didn't go off the rails. Loved this movie.
