Definitely different and Eva looks identical to an old gf maybe that helped in bias but still extra points for originality

Quite a messy folk post apocalyptic tale. At least it has two female protagonists who are not needlessly sexualized, skull for that. Great setting for a low budget b-movie, skull. Other than that, it had a chaotic script, lousy scene progression, filled with ex machina / out of nowhere plot, jumping from scene to scene to show their rented locations for 5 mins, random chance-finds in forests (even for a folk tale!), and very little character development in spite of being character-driven. I'm not judging it only as a zombie flick. Symbolic approaches go hand in hand with zombie flicks, but this movie also lacked the symbolic. The supposedly 'deep' (skin-deep) message of all coming back to earth is just ok, but filmed poorly. Also, couldn't they steal more from The Last of Us??
