Fangoria Chainsaw Awards 2024

I've been reading Fangoria since I was a child in the 80s. i expected more effort for an awards show presented by the best horror mag of all time. just looks like something some teenagers made in a basement. put some love into it next year. spend a couple of bucks. get a live audience. make it an event, not something you're trying to muscle through.

I thought most of the awards could’ve been up in the air and overall fun but they were kinda predictable. I thought for the fact that the first award with supporting performances, that had 3 Abigail performances, and no one won, but I loved Alyssa Sutherland in Evil Dead Rise. The best film wide release could’ve been anything but Godzilla Minus One which is great because it mixes old creature horror with modern creature horror. Congrats to the filmmaker for that.
