Not enjoyable, not even in a so-bad-it's-good way. I found it pretty boring
it wasn’t that bad
Ignore the hate. This is actually a cute satire of wannabe influencer culture and the narcissism of Gen Z. Sure, the characters are annoying. They are meant to be. Imagine a film full of the least likable teens from all the Friday the 13th films. But the cast are terrific, leaning into these grotesque stereotypes with gusto. Sure, the plot is cliched and makes no sense. Why is that being held against it? When has any teen slasher film had an original, coherent plot? And at least in #Float the poor decisions can be ascribed to the emotional shallowness and self-importance of the characters. Just been told your friend is dead? Probably just doing it for attention. What a buzz kill. Sure, the music is terrible - but that's the sort of synthetic plastic muzak these people listen to, or at least use as aural wall paper in of their tiktoks and vlogs. And, sure, it filmed with lots of showy flash and music video stylings ... but again, that's entirely appropriate for the purpose of the film.
absolute piece of shit. Storyline makes no sense, characters dumb as bricks. Recommend only if intending to do shots for every stupid decision and poor acting scene to ensure you die of alcohol poisoning
