Vanessa Lutz, a teenage delinquent, runs away from her prostitute mother and perverted stepfather to go live with her grandmother. While on her way, she meets Bob Wolverton, a charming yet sadistic serial killer. Fearing for her life, she attempts to kill Bob, but Bob makes himself appear the victim and Vanessa is sent to jail. Now she must escape and clear her name before he can strike again!

A masterpiece of the 90s. Witherspoon is impeccable and Sutherland creepy af. The score, the acting, everything is great about this movie.

At a time when every independent filmmaker was gunning for, you know, a standing ovation at Sundance or a jury prize at Cannes, Matthew Bright came along and... went in the complete opposite direction. Thank the Lord! The demented result is one of the finest exploitation flicks of the 90s.
