The worst thing a film can be is boring. This is the worst! Awful script, terribly acting, unbelievable dialogue and the scariest thing is that people funded, wrote and filmed this AND we watched it. I’m sure there are people that like it, I’m neither one of them. They went away from found footage which is always a gamble that usually fails and this one failed unfortunately. I don’t really think the whole series is very bad, excluding the Carmichael manor which I didn’t mind, hopefully this is the last one
I’m eagerly awaiting the next installation
A bit slow to burn, but it does add another sinister flavour to the overall Hell House Universe. Definitely worth watching.
Ties somethings together as well as leaves some things open for a sequel. I really enjoyed the series in total and understand not every movie is going to be a banger. I still liked it even though is was a little slow.
Generally speaking I’m a fan of the Hell House series. The decision to move from found footage to feature film really laid bare all of the flaws in everything from poor acting to poor writing and lazy jump scares. This did very little but provide exposition for whatever is going to proceed it…hopefully that one doesn’t suck.
