Six friends get together during lockdown for their weekly zoom call. It's Haley’s turn to organise an activity and instead of a quiz, she’s arranged for a Medium to conduct a séance. Bored and feeling mischievous, Jemma decides to have some fun and invents a story about a boy in her school who hanged himself. However, her prank gives license for a demonic presence to cross over, taking on the guise of the boy in Jemma’s made-up story. The friends begin noticing strange occurrences in their homes as the evil presence begins to make itself known, and they soon realise that they might not survive the night. A SHUDDER ORIGINAL.
During an online séance, six friends accidentally invite the attention of a demonic presence.

every movie wants to he 3 hours long now but not this one. they said 56 minutes is enough and they were right. its fun horror that doesnt overstay its welcome, definitely recommend checking it out.
Silly but serviceable. It's what you might call a "jump scare movie". It works for what it is, but could've been much stronger. Watch only if out of other options.
Concept was coool, but execution was :(
This is great. Very much in the vein of the Paranormal Activity movies. Confined spaces, objective cameras, eerie visuals, keeps you glued to the screen looking for spooky stuff in the background. The story isn't anything special, but it suffices as a scare delivery system.
Definitely gives off Paranormal Activity / Unfriended vibes. Cheesy, cliché jump scares but I was spooked! This isn’t the best movie I’ve seen, but I’ll admit, it was good!
