One of the best true horror movies I had seen in a while. Give em their gd check right now....
Fun and entertaining. Seen worse. Seen better. Don’t mind watching this every 5 or so years.
Not the greatest but gets the job done. A little corny. If I hadn't seen half of the cast in either a drama or comedy before, it probably would have given off better horror vibes but just didn't feel thriller/horror because of the cast choice. Chris Kattan did surprisingly well for what it was.
Not the best but was still pretty good film
Ok. My review time! So, I like this as much as I do the original. While the original was fantastic, this had a few faults but worked out very well. Like an asylum made into a mansion was different, as well as ACTUALLY featuring ghosts, while it did follow the original plot with an added twist. This was definitely enjoyable, in it's own way of course. Adding ghosts helped a lot. I also like how they used Marilyn Manson's version of Sweet Dreams Are Made Of These. This is the 2nd movie I've watched using this version of the song. 1st being Trick 'r Treat. All in all? 5 Skulls. If they left it in a cliff hanger and no ghosts like original, it would've been 3 if they had the technology for it in the 90's and not using it would've been a sheer waste.
