I would give this grade 9 level script a zero-skull rating. Not the worst concept, I was in, and ready to enjoy, and I have a wide tent for horror enjoyment- it could be schlock, clever, dystopian, mythic, philosophical, but this piece of trash was an absolute waste of time. I can't believe it got made, actually. Hopefully, the director and writers have grown up and matured and are onto better things. In the meantime give this flaccid turd a pass. . . if you value your time and quality of life.

No set up, nobody answers each others questions or interacts beyond waiting until its their turn to continue their dialogue tree, and its deeply unscary. I recommend you skip.

This movie is a real slow burn, if you can handle a slow plotline , questionable acting and writing at times it's a decent movie.

I like what the horror genre tells us about mental illness. It doesn't matter whether it is a demon from hell or a demon of the mind. Either way the individual suffers and the family suffers.

What could have been a great film was marred by infuriating plot holes, inconsistent characterization and motivations, an overwrought soundtrack, and an anticlimactic ending. Despite the broader issues I have with this film, I thought the acting was excellent.
