I Trapped The Devil
Directed by Josh Lobo
When Matt and Karen visit his estranged brother Steve to celebrate Christmas, they are greeted with a horrifying surprise. Steve has trapped a man in his basement. Someone he believes to be none other than the devil himself. A clever and claustrophobic horror thriller that will keep you guessing.

No set up, nobody answers each others questions or interacts beyond waiting until its their turn to continue their dialogue tree, and its deeply unscary. I recommend you skip.
This movie is a real slow burn, if you can handle a slow plotline , questionable acting and writing at times it's a decent movie.
I like what the horror genre tells us about mental illness. It doesn't matter whether it is a demon from hell or a demon of the mind. Either way the individual suffers and the family suffers.
What could have been a great film was marred by infuriating plot holes, inconsistent characterization and motivations, an overwrought soundtrack, and an anticlimactic ending. Despite the broader issues I have with this film, I thought the acting was excellent.
This is badly written, badly acted, and laughably unscary. I wanted to like this movie, but it's just not worth it.
