Another fucking fantastic Indonesian horror movie.

It starts slow, and takes a good thirty minutes just to get to the main setting, but then it picks up the pace and only gets darker and more dire as it continues straight to the end. If you're looking for sensational, scare-your-knickers-off kind of horror, then this is not for you. "Impetigore", though it does employ the use of the paranormal, focuses more on how desperation leads us, as humans, to do terrible things - often without thinking. Don't expect jump scares in this film.

Really slow. No great moments. Needed to be an hour shorter. The narrative falls apart very quickly and the curse is so transparent and cheap. The leads have good chemistry but the other acting is poor. The story has no cohesiveness and the scares are not there. Not a horror or thriller. A long family tale lacking in every respect. Skip this one. Save yourself the time.

Great movie with a great story and very creepy. The casting and acting was spot on. It had some memorable scary scenes.
