Infection
Directed by Masayuki Ochiai
In a general hospital nearing bankruptcy, the skeleton staff is working under severe stress. During emergency attendance to a burn victim, Dr. Uozumi (Masanobu Takashima) and Dr. Akiba (Kôichi Satô) erroneously inject sodium chlorate and kill the patient. Dr. Uozumi convinces the team to forge the report and save their careers. But a bad night turns worse when a patient with a mysterious infection is left unaccompanied in the emergency room to spread the lethal, gooey virus around. A favorite of the 2000s J-horror boom, Masayuki Ochiai's gnarly body horror is a grotesque delight that departs from the more familar, supernatural tropes of the era.
A hosptial staff must contend with a mysterious infection.
Cast: Michiko Hada, Mari Hoshino, Tae Kimura, Yôko Maki

needless to say this one is a classic. if you haven't seen this yet, do yourself a favor and start watching now
Confusing but weird.
One of my favorites,it always scratches that itch of hospital horror.
I first saw this in the mid2000's and it stuck with me since then. It's a very memorable and well executed film. One of my favorite Asian horrors
Very weird flick feels like a psychotic, supernaturally themed episode of "Scrubs." Doctors and Nurses, all under extreme amounts of pressure, find themselves affected by some sort of (sentient?) virus that begins to drive (even more?) insane. The characters are interesting, the dark and oppressive hospital sets are creepy, and the scare sequences direct and genuine. Not a legend or anything, but definitely a strong outing.
