I liked it as a campy yet nasty call-back to things like Poltergeist, and there's a few bits that aren't exactly scares but are really fun little ghost moments and the premise itself is interesting. But the final demon does have an unfortunate resemblance to Darth Maul, the main guy is a bit dull, and the abrupt ending also doesn't quite work. Also I don't want to watch the sequel because there's only so many "evil cross-dresser" films I want in my life and that number is 0.

Forgettable movie, hard to take seriously since the demon looks like Darth Maul.

I...couldn't decide whether I liked this or not. I felt like it could have been a lot more than it was - the camera-work perhaps wasn't sharp enough to make some of the scares truly 'scary', but it's worth a watch to make up your own mind.
