Julia
Directed by Matthew A. Brown
After being brutally traumatised by a group of men, Julia undergoes a radical and unorthodox form of therapy in order to find herself again. Her psychiatrist recommends structured, carefully monitored revenge, but for Julia, it’s gone way beyond that. Her thirst for vengeance is too strong and she becomes totally dominated by her own violent nature, willing to do anything, kill anyone to get even.
A neo-noir revenge thriller centering on Julia Shames, who after suffering a brutal trauma, falls prey to an unorthodox form of therapy to restore herself.

Not bad, reminds me of the movies 'I spit on your grave'. The only difference is with this one you have a group of women working as a CULT helping each other out. But Julia turns it into a solo killer movie. The plot was OK and it does get hard to watch knowing full well women are treated like this in real life. The GORE was 5 skulls but the storyline failed to impress especially near the end.
Fantsic ho the
I really liked it but it is not an easy watch
Meh was OK
I enjoyed this! With an understandable, believable and emotive plotline, good performances, sleek cinematography and the protaganist delving into her hidden desires that costs her attackers much, its good. More gore would have heightened the appeal for me though.
