didnt like that matador scenes of the real bull foortage. The movie is pretty dry otherwise which is disappointing. if you can show animals bloody why can't you show special effects. Completely forgettable.

wasn't a bad film considering it's time. just wish the ending was more over the top and not simple

I laughed at the reviewers who couldn't make it past the bullfight footage. I eat steak, and I'm not bothered. Anyway, the film is very good overall but no all-time classic. Carroll Baker plays a mute character whose muteness related to past personal trauma. I liked the way she conveyed emotions without ever speaking a word, like a silent movie actress. Various random murders occur throughout the movie, and maybe it's a satanic cult since there are clues implicating one. A dirty hippie gets accused of the murders, and there's an uncle with a library of occult literature who seems very suspicious. What does Snoopy from the comic strip have to do with all of this? This film built up suspense fairly well, although I'd deduced who the murderer was less than halfway through. The ending also loses steams. But it's not bad at all.
