During a weekend alone, his peaceful existence is interrupted by the sudden arrival of two lost and seemingly innocent young girls. After naively inviting them in while they wait for a taxi, the night takes a sudden and disturbing turn when a debaucherous mistake evolves into a living nightmare.
When a devoted husband and father is left home alone for the weekend, two stranded young women unexpectedly knock on his door for help. What starts out as a kind gesture results in a dangerous seduction and a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Why does everyone dislike this movie ? It’s a classic and deserves more love
It can be fun in a trashy way, but this film is still so incredibly unsatisfying, no good payoff, the girls have the dumbest motive, characters do stupid things that make no sense, and the serious scenes are unintentionally hilarious
bad movie won't watvh that sgain
SEVERE TRIGGER WARNING! This film contains non-consensual acts of sex and mentions/references to child sex abuse. Knock Knock as a whole is not very good however that's not a deal breaker for me (Re-Animator is one of my favorite films) although this ends up feeling more like softcore porn/fetish content masquerading as a thriller. Keanu is Keanu so his acting, while the same in most films he's in, is head and shoulders above any of the other actors. From a technical aspect it's competent but some homophobic, racist and ableist lines of the script along with the acts mentioned above bring it from what starts as a film that is a 3/5 to a solid 0. I can watch very bad films and enjoy them just as much as acclaimed cinema, but i am wary to recommend this to anyone as it is very bland overall in it's presentation and lacks anything of substance to say beyond surface level pedophile = bad which is a given in society as a whole anyway
