While there aren’t jump scares or gore filled kills in this movie, I personally found it to be deeply disturbing to watch. I think this film beautifully handles vengeance, racism, classism, familial trauma and the horror that many indigenous tribes of central and South American have faced due to colonialism. I found it to be very poignant film and the imagery of violence against indigenous people was crushing to watch.
Amazing, Loved it.
Those whom don’t know the Guatemalan history this is one that was part reality and fiction, well done movie, yes this was the Guatemalian llorona.
sooo terrible.
I can't remember being more disappointed by a supposed "horror" movie. This movie had no business being on Shudder. Please do not waste your time with this movie.
