Lips of Blood
Directed by Jean Rollin
Memories of a mysterious woman leads a man to free a group of female vampires in Jean Rollin’s sensuous and scary vampire tale. Frederic is at a party with his mother when a photo on the wall triggers a long-dormant childhood memory of encountering a woman at a chateau. Though his mother says he’s imagining things, Frederic’s obsession leads him on a quest to uncover the truth, even if people die in the process. A vivid encapsulation of Rollin’s trademark themes of memory, childhood, and romantic obsession, LIPS OF BLOOD is essential viewing for Euro-horror fans.

it drags too much I liked it but its very slow and forgettable. Other vampire french movies added are a little better than this one.
What did I just watch?
I’m surprised by how terrible this was. The first ten minutes of dialogue are completely redundant. I started folding laundry. However, I can appreciate it as a unique effort for the time period.
A dark movie full of boobs, blood and beauty.
occasionally amateurish but full of surreal and esoteric beauty
